LOCATION: at the Pont de Diable visitor centre. Route du Pont du Diable - 07330 Thueyts
PRICE: €18 per set of equipment (entry fee included). Equipment is hired on a half-day basis, but the course takes approximately 2 hours to complete.
NO REFUNDS ON EQUIPMENT ONCE IT HAS BEEN COLLECTED!

HEIGHT AND WEIGHT REQUIREMENTS: ESSENTIAL!
Height: minimum 1.40m to reach all holds
Weight: MINIMUM 40kg / MAXIMUM 110kg (manufacturer’s standards)
Minors must be accompanied
We will not be able to hire equipment to you if these criteria are not met.
LEVEL AD +: moderate to sustained fitness level. This via ferrata does not involve any technical difficulty and is accessible to all. It can be completed independently after following the safety instructions given at the start. Two escape routes allow you to exit the route if necessary.
BRING: a rucksack with water / non-slip footwear / grippy gloves if you have
WEATHER: no hire will be available in the event of thunderstorms and/or heavy rain and/or strong winds
Halfway between hiking and climbing, both sporty and fun, via ferrata is a popular activity for families.
The via ferrata is a form of vertical progression which, thanks to its metal equipment, does not require a great deal of technical know-how, but nevertheless demands good physical condition and strict adherence to safety rules.
NO SUPERVISION! We remind you that this is a simple rental, and that you are on your own for the duration of the trip. We'll give you a detailed safety briefing before you set off: safety precautions, use of equipment, route progression and escape routes.
